QRA Season opener.
(News, QRA) Machines are being prepped, goggles cleaned and camel backs rinsed in readiness for the start of the 2006 QRA British Quad Endurance Championship with many riders with an eye on dislodging Mr Winrow’s crown and with 30 hours of racing ahead there is time to put the Honda star under pressure in the 10 round championship. New venues and some voted for vavourites revisited for the multi class and multi ability championship in 2006. With classes for all, from manufacturers classes, Over 40’s and 50’s (Mr Foulkes Class!), Under 21’s, 4x4 and the Open. Registration is still available for the championship and with the likes of Paul Winrow, David Baldwin, Steve Atkins and ‘Sid Hinds’ plus a few suprises, this year looks set to be a cracker. Open to boys and girls from 16 to 106. The first round in Sunday 2nd April at Dunkeswell, near Taunton in Somerset.
